bridegroom wears a silk dhoti and kurta in
Bengali wedding ceremony. At the time of performing rituals, the bridegroom
drapes a white silk cloth known as jor around
his body. The cloth is used to tie one end with that of the bride’s sareeto perform some rituals. The groom
also wears a mukut known as topor on
his head. Topor is a shoal conical
hat made of paper.
