The time when the marriages should be conducted depend on various factor, which are the leaves of the children and youngsters of the family, availability of the wedding venue and of course the best season when the wedding can b enjoyed by everyone attending it. The best season for marriages in India is awaited by the parents and family members of the prospective bride and groom.
The most preferred season for any matrimony is believed to be autumn and winters, in the Indian context. This is the time around October to march, particularly during the start and end of this period when the weather is very pleasant, there is cool breeze around in the southern and western region of the country and in the northern India, the temperature is low and very nice.
Since summers are very hot and there is hot wind across the country and there is high humidity and continuous rains during the monsoons which really makes it tough to conduct the weddings. In various communities of India, particularly, Jain matrimony is accomplished during daytime and in summers, it’s impossible to think about a wedding to be attended during the hot hours.
The main reason why the people prefer conducting weddings in winters is that all the festivals like Deepawali, Eid, Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga puja have already been celebrated and people get time to concentrate on the wedding and do important things like shopping and all. Also because of the recent festivals, there is good stock in the market and there is something for everyone in the market. However in the extreme colder month like December and January, only a few weddings are organized as it is very cold in the northern parts of the country.
